I am continually inspired by the regions beauty and resilience,” said Jones. “With years of experience in economic and tourism development, I'm passionate about showcasing the untold stories of this region and fostering a sense of community. My aim is to not only celebrate the creative talents of Appalachia but to also invite others to explore this beautiful place, and discover inspiration. We are going to produce this series in a way that's never been done before."
"Leaving the hustle of L.A. for the charm of Bristol, Virginia was a game-changer for me,” added Thompson. “I was on the hunt for a place to settle down and start a family, and Southwest Virginia checked all the boxes. Being able to work remotely from such a beautiful spot was a no-brainer. Teaming up with Ryan lets me blend my storytelling passion with my love for this hidden gem of a region."
The Opportunity:
The gap in dynamic storytelling for Southwest Virginia is significant. The region remains underserved in economic and tourism development, which hinders its potential for growth.
